Custom Range Hood & Kitchen Feature Wall

This custom range hood was designed and built in-house to fill the entire range wall, turning a functional element into the focal point of the kitchen.

Custom shelving was added on both sides of the hood, a detail that extends the design across the full wall and gives the space a feature few kitchens have. The hood itself was fabricated by hand, with patina applied to the metal to bring out texture and depth, then finished with a dark stain to add contrast against the surrounding cabinetry. The result is a look that feels rustic and refined at the same time.

Welded construction, metal banding, and specialty nails were used throughout to reinforce the handcrafted character of the piece, right down to the smallest details.

It's a good example of what custom fabrication can bring to a kitchen: a single element, built around the space it belongs in, that becomes the piece the whole room is designed around.
